Default Cam Help

Ok, I am swapping stock LS3 heads and Intake with 92mm TB and 85mm MAF onto my LS2. I have a cam, 226/230 .598/.601 111 +4 on EPS lobes. I have heard so mcuh conflicting information I am at a loss now. Some have said the cam i have will work good, some say I could gain alot of power by just widening the LSA and making the split a little larger. I am looking for advice from people who have actually done the swap or cam experts. I want to keep a mild lobe LSL/EPS etc and I do not want to go much bigger, I'd like to stay low to mid 230's on duration and high 500's low 600's on lift. PLEASE post your suggestions and opinions. How do you think my cam now would work, how much better would a 230/238 .5xx/.600 115 work etc?

Thank you very much for any advice!

I'd recommend talking to Geoff since that is his cam, but I think you might be surprised. The latter cam wouldn't make a lot more peak power, but would make it over a broader range and peak at a higher rpm. So not sure on how high you plan on spinning it, but if anything pulling it out for a comparo afterwards would be interesting as not many do that.
