Talking If at first you dont suceed - build an LQ4 instead

After much delay from disgust at the situation and mainly from my workload lately:

So in having issues in the past with an engine builder's mistakes on a 500hp ls1, and then my failure to correct his mistakes without making my own (some may have read my other post)

Here is what I have decided to do:

Purchased LQ4 rebuilt short block. (6.0)
with:
ARP rod bolts
243 Corvette Heads
Cam: 224 228 114 588 lift

Now I seem to have a surplus of LS parts laying around now, so here is my plan:

Remove 243's

Install my "Spare"
Trickflow Fast as Cast heads
7.40 Trick flow push rods
Lunati Lifters
1.72 Comp roller rockers (ive done my research, talked to comp, and I am ready to use these regardless of internet rumors going around. Will report the results)
ARP Head studs

I have calculated this motor with my 61cc (milled) heads compression ratio at: 10.78 : 1

Havent decided if I want to use the cam that came in the 6.0 or another one I have: 226 229 dur@ .050 .576 .578 lift 112 ls.

Already have my spare parts out of the spare engines, and one head off of the 6.0... Heading out now to continue on... Will post how things go.

I managed 466hp at the motor with the setup above in a 5.7... That was with top end issues and the dynotune never being completed. Hoping to make a good bit more with the 6.0.

Plan to have final tuning done by vengeance racing after receiving a lot of recommendations.

Anyone have any thoughts / opinions?

And yes, I know I am a gluten for punishment.

Cool thing is though - when I finish this I will have a 500-550hp (hopefully) 6.0 for the C5 and I will have a close to 500hp (forged bottom end aluminum 5.7 ls1 and 243 heads & cam) worth of parts to put together for my other car (GTO). Just need to send my block off to the machine shop.
