I have .040 head gaskets on mine. It all depends on what you want the quench and compression to be.

Remember the piston sticks out of the hole around .010 so I would not go less then .040.
Under high revs, there's gonna be a little more sticking out of the hole !

Depends on the dimensions of the engine. I ran ls7 gaskets on mine.

Ive never had a aftermarket piston stick past the deck on a LS engine?
Maybe im missing something ,or wasnt decking the block enough?

Unless you check your individual engine deck height ,asking advise isnt the safest way to get it figured out.
As well as was mentioned, the quench, area will vary depending on your specific combo.
Any MLS gasket will work as long as the block and head surfaces are true

Again like I posted in you other thread, you are not giving enough info. You don't know what piston is in the motor and you are hell bent on throwing those heads and cam in not knowing if you will make more power or not.

Pull your motor apart first and see what you have then go from there. I know you won't do that though. You'll just throw whatever gasket we say with those heads and camshaft.

You need to know where the piston is at in relation to the deck height.

Without this dimension it is nothing more than a guess

You need a actual deck height measurement. Also a comp height on the piston. Full specs from the build sheet should have all this info.
