I bought mine back in 2010. I got the budget ls3 427. Scat rods w/arp 8740 rod bolts, scat crank, mahle pistons, L92's (c&c), victor jr intake, pro systems carb, 236/248 @.50 .601/.615 on a 112. Its in a 4dr nova with 12 bolt 3.73, 350 turbo w/ptc 3500-4000k stall. Best et so far is 10.31@128. Still working on the suspension lol!!. Engine runs strong and I drive the car everywhere. Any more questions feel free to ask.

Surely that can't be the correct weight.
I just used one of the online calculators which shows that based on weight, time and speed our cammed LS3 is making more power than your LS3-427.
Our LS3 traps 11.16xx at 121.xxxmph in a 3,880lb car.

I was alittle suprised to when I weighed it. It has full interior also.
Maybe the scale was way off ??? So far my notchback with carbed ls3 has gone 10.11 @ 134 on motor......still playing with timing and jets.....
Its possible that the scales were off but I have weighed it several times. Last time i weighed it I was at beech bend holley ls fest 2013. Yeah im still working on getting all the bugs out of my set-up. Good luck with ur car!
