LQ9 build - suggestions?
Alright guys, so I just bought a 2003 Silverado, and it has the famous 6.0L LQ9 engine in it. It's a very great engine , and it's got 317 heads with work on them, and it's also got a COMP 261 cam in it (Adv. duration @.050 in - 261, out - 265) cold air intake and a 3200 torque converter. My questions are
A.) Keep the head or put a different one? I'm impressed by the L92's , but what do y'all think?
B.) Best cam? This isn't a very big cam. I want a slow, choppy bada** idle, so something with the LSA below 110.
I'm also putting a programmer, and dual super 44's on it, and this is my daily driver, so no superchargers or anything lol. Also, I'm in high school, so money is spent conservatively. Thank you guys so much, and any answers will be appreciated. Thank you, and God Bless!

You'll be fed up with a badass choppy idle soon enough. Great for a toy, not a daily driver. Get something with a noticeable lope to it but stop short of the fender shaker.
Or knock yourself out with a big, lopey cam, that's something we all want once in a daily driver...'till we've tried it.
