should i replace titanium retainers
I am in the process of replacing my dual gold springs on my patriot stage 3 heads of my 402, 20k miles aprox. replacing them with Brian Tooley .660 springs. what is the life expected from the titanium retainers, am I safe using them, what should I look for, I see no wear on them.

Shouldn't have an issue with wear, titanium will scratch, which is mostly cosmetic, you want to make sure none of the valve locks pulled through, which is rarely ever an issue.
Make sure the steps and ID on the retainer match the new spring, however I believe BTR springs and Patriot are verrrry close in dimension.
