Default 5.7L block vs 6.0L block build

Hi, i'm looking to build up my 2001 ws6. I've got a 76mm turbo kit to put on it at 14psi. I'm looking to put down 650 +/- 50 Whp (hopefully +). I've already got the tranny, rear, suspension and fuel to support. I'm planning on using a fully forged rotating assembly and using an alluminum block. It's going to be a road course/drag/street car. I'm just looking to see what people have to say about machining a 5.7L or just paying a little more and getting a new 6.0L. Would a 5.7L with a mild cam, stock ls1 heads (with of course upgraded springs and everything else) at 14psi running 93 octane with NO meth inj. be able to push 650whp +/-50 or would i need the extra .3L to make it to that mark? The turbo is a precision billet cea 76mm. I've seen some threads on builds of 5.7L making 650 just seeing what people suggest. Thanks.

18 cubes is not going to make that much of a difference in your car.

Put the money that you would've spent on the 6.0 block towards a set of heads and it will make more of a performance difference.
