Default Harmonic balancer

Does anyone make a basic striped down balancer? I need one to power an alternator and water pump only. Ideally id like one that is light, small and keyed as well as under driven. Oh and a fair price would be nice.

I dont know squat about balancers so point me in the right direction please

I'm surprised I haven't seen one.. There has got to be thousands of LS motors out there running just the basics.

That is what the guys suggested. I failed to mention I'll be pushing 900 on a stock crank though

Most likely they will suggest you use a stock diameter damper or no more than 10% underdriven with the 66 durometer rubber. Most often ATI will push dampening over an underdriven setup. You will gain more from the better dampening characteristics of their damper then you will with underdriving it.

Around here there are several that have taken tgeir stock balancer to a machine shop and had the a/c section milled off. Works great...one has gone 8.92 @160mph in the 1/4 on a turbo car...another has been mid 10's on a cam+ bolt ons car. No issues at all.

You get what you pay for. Not a place to get cheap.

I agree, I'm not sure you will see results with this damper. Maybe?

I wasn't really looking for "results" I need a keyed balancer for the new crankshaft. I'm happy with the way the stocker performed I just don't like the look. Honestly I dot know anything about balancers. What "results" could be had running an ATI vs. Stock or pro products?
