Default Help me choose a cam... Car was featured on ls nation

I have a 2002 ws6 6 speed. I want to get some heads and cams. I don't daily drive it but it is a weekend warrior. I would like a choppy cam. My budget is like 1500 or around there. What set up you guys think I should go with??? Also how much power you think I'll make??

My current mods:
SLP pulley
SLP belts
SLP lid
K&N air filter
Ported throttle body
Ported maf ends
Ls6 manifold
160° thermostat
Bump stop mod
Throttle body bypass

Call one of the vendors like Tick Performance, Texas Speed, etc...they can walk you through the specifics and set you up

Choppy= SS HT from FTI. $1500 for heads and cam? With your mods and a 228/232 you can be around 390-400 rwhp. Wrong section BTW.

Choppy can be accomplished by any cam really.

Making a cam "choppy" is easy. Building reliable power and torque off idle to red line is where it gets tricky.
