Hi

Can I install a dray Sump on my 2008 Auto C6 iv been using my car on the track and my oil temp is too high after 1 full lap.

I searched online I only seem to find them for stages 1/2/3 for C6Zo6.

I don't want to buy something and end up wasting my money.

You can, but your trans temps are going to be through the roof as soon as you take care of the oil temp issue. You can add an oil cooler to address the high oil temps.

ARE and AVIAID both have systems that will work for a street driven, track car.

You will want to keep the stock pressure pump and I would go with the two stage scavenge system.

But, I would recommend that if you are gonna continue tracking with your driver, sell the auto coupe and get a 6 speed car.

You are finding out why my friend sold his 08' base Vette and upgraded to a
2012 Grand Sport Vette which comes with the dry sump on the stick cars.
The engines are also hand assembled in the same GM room as the LS7/9s.
His oil temps stay in check for half hour sessions at Road America in Elkhart
Lake, Wisconsin

I know it may be a little work but why couldn't he pick up an ls7 oil pump, pan, front cover and oil cooler and lines?

You'd have to swap cranks too, the dry sump crank snout is 1" longer for the specific oil pump.
