LS2 camshaft into LR4 4.8L Push rod length help?
I have 2007 4.8L LR4 from a express can. I swapped in a 06 GTO LS2 camshaft, and I have LS6 valve springs to go in. LS2 front cover, and cam gear. I also have comp cams 7702-1 push rod length checker, but don't really know how to use it.
Now from what I can tell so far seems like the base circle for the exhaust and intake lobes are different on the LS2 cam? Is this correct? Any pointers for using the tool?

No body?? I hate to pull the cam out again to measure the base circle of the intake and exhaust, they must be different, or otherwise something is way out of whack!
I have 1.5 turns pre-load at 22 ft/lbs with a simulated 7.425" push rod, on the intake valves, and about 3 1/4 turns at 22 ft/lbs pre-load on the exhaust with about 7.425" simulated rod length?
What gives here they should be the same, unless the exhaust base circle for the lobes is large then the intakes?
