Default 2011 L99 for a RX7 Swap- What do I need to do?

I might be picking up an very low millage L99 for a good price. I will be running it with a t-56. A few Noob Questions:

1) What all will I need to do/buy to get it to run with the T56? PCM? Harness?

2) Should I do the l99 to ls3 swap? I don't care about much more HP at this point, I am tracking the car and just want reliability and longevity?

3) Any reason not to get the engine?

Thanks

Hey there

You can get a 98-02 f-body wiring harness from a t56 car. You will have to modify it to get it to work, mostly for the power connections and stuff like tach, fuel pump and a few others. Go to this site, they have alot of parts for these type conversions, such as k member and tranny crossmember. http://grannys.tripod.com/mainpage.html

I did a ls1/t56 into a 1990 rx7 for my son. It was a few years ago, but pm me if you have questions, may be able to answer them.
