I guess the next question is does anyone make an LS7 intake port head with any style exhaust port so you need custom headers but you get much better exhaust flow.

So far these are the flow numbers i have:

Brand--------------------------Intake-------Exhaust-----Bore
Lift-----------------------------0.650----------0.650

Mast motorsports LS7------------388-----------247---------4.125
Texas Speed PRC LS7x 285cc-----393-----------241---------4.125
RHS wont tell me as stated in email
Lingenfelter LS7------------------395-----------239---------4.125

Those exhaust flow numbers could be without a pipe which usually adds another 20 cfm

yeah thats the thing you have to trust them + hey all the numbers can be made up bullshit anyway unless you have 1 independent tester doing all the tests not associated to them like hot rod magazine or something.

+ different flow benches will yield different results.

Well, since the OP didn't mention anything about price. Don't bother with anything already posted, see link below.

I would use ANY of the All Pro or the new Brodix heads. They are powerhouses. And you dont need "custom" headers for the LS7 port, they just have a different flange for the D port and the primaries are shaped as such. If the port is too big esp to flow those numbers, you will need a custom set anyway. Also make sure to check on what bore size the heads are flowed, and quite a few are not corrected either.

My Frankenstien heads will be getting dyno'd tomorrow so,we'll see what they do w/ my 235/251 cam. Big flow numbers for sure (410/270), with my 434, I'm excited to see what they'll do! As you can see, the "D" style exhaust port is basically gone from a "D" to an "O"!

Flow doesnt mean everything, esp just dry flow. There is alot more to a combo than just max flow.

There are no problems with LS7 mixture motion or wet flow

More air is more power,we are talking about avg flow numbers across the lift profile not peak

Im pretty sure someone in this thread was just comparing only peak numbers. And afaik no one is doing any wet flow numbers/comparos.
