Default What else can I do to the LS7 without going pour

I have

catless longtubes
x pipe

cam (specs below)

duration at .050 intake 240 exhaust 248
lobe lift intake .3430 exhaust .3400
gross valve lift intake .617 exhaust .612)

titanium valve springs/retainers
mahle forged pistons
ferrea exhaust valves
CR 12:2:1

and I just added a ported FAST102 and Nick Williams TB.

What else can I do without cracking the motor open? My CR is pretty high so I doubt I'd be able to boost.

Am I at the high $ little HP stage?

Underdrive pulley, electric water pump, maybe a different intake (upstream of the throttle body).

I am not sure what you mean by cracking the motor open since you already changed the cam and pistons but I would suggest some CNC ported stock heads. I have seen some nice gains with LS7 heads ported by LPE, Texas speed, SDPC and it is relatively inexpensive.

good ideas, thanks. didn't even think of the electric water pump or pulley

I'd like to stay N/A plus I'd primarily be using this as a street car. I'd be too tempted to use the juice on the street in those "just in case" scenarios

Sorry I didn't want to do it again I meant. Only reason it was open before was because the motor blew some time ago.

on a full bolt on LS7 with upped compression how much would I gain from ported heads?

Try this ,the cam duration is pretty good add more lift say around 640-650 lift and have the heads ported by Frankinstin or Darwin@ Reher-Morrison...you can get 600rwhp = 680-700fwhp call Ron @vengence 600rwhp is done there all the time with the ls7 N/A.

Use stepped headers, large dia. exhaust and use a cam with a larger split (in the neighborhood of 15 degrees, not just 8!) and spend time tuning.

Yeah I'm thinking possibly heads are the last step here pretty much. How difficult is a head swap on these cars? I did it on my old HEMI 6.1 but not an LS7

There's not too much I'd change if I were you. With out adding some sort of power adder, the only thing worth looking into IMO is, having the heads ported by either Frankenstein or Reher-Morrison and getting better valve events spec'd to take advantage of the additional flow.

Minimum 3-1/2" merge collectors, 3-1/2" headpipes/X-pipe and 3" tailpipes

well i copied John B . just with a lq9. Just heads and cam but have the intake gutted heads flow over 400cfm intake is limited 2 around 340 -350cfm gutted thats a fast 4 u. But really,a good port job and the right cam. John's ls7 is my pick of any on this site it is a simple 427 good parts and let that ***** F¥€«»ER BREATHE.
