ERL or Dart Block?

ERL or Dart Block?
I had the wonderful experience seeing my C6 Z06 make a nice puff of smoke on the dyno this past Thursday. The result throwing a rod in the #2 cyl with a hole in the block. So I'm looking to get info on experience with both companies.
I live near Hollywood CA so we have traffic heat and other interesting things. So this Corvette is a daily driver for the most part. Had 86k on the motor when this happened.
I've already talked to some of my sponsors, Mahle ,Manley, Clevite and a few other companies are going to send me new internals.
I'm staying N/A I'm making over 530rwhp on my z06 with the current setup. I'm not looking to go much over 600rwhp if at all . So just a bare block is what I'm looking for . if anyone has a stock ls7 please let me know also. kananrd@gmail.com
I'd really appreciate everyone's information and input
Thank you

If I was you I'll go with erl. All the big boys run they motors with no problems. Ray Litz Ohio boys Dave Childress Paul falcon..... All the badass cars you see making a name for their selves. I also heard David Childress drove from Virginia to bowling green and won true street car a couple times in a row and drove the car back home which he said was 850 miles

I would go with either a GM Performance LSX block or the Dart block. Nothing against ERL but you can most likely get one of these quicker and they will have no problem supporting the HP you are looking for.
Good luck

All 3 of the blocks are more then better then a stock block, they each have there own different trates, and you won't have to worry about over heating plus another rod going there the block again.

You have RED in Oceanside, CA. Steve can sleeve your stock LS7 block. That's not that far of a drive away.

In a vette, I would stay aluminum for weight bias unless you have some adjustable suspension.

i'm at the point leaning towards getting an ls2 3 or 7 and have it sleeved by red or erl just waiting on phone calls back from both companies. i'll make this engine into a nice table lol. GM called me back they said that i can have a local tech look at the damage, and they might work with me on getting a new block
