L76 is the engine that comes in the Pontiac g8 gt.
it is a 6.0 ls2 with displacement on demand. l92 heads, 362ci, ls3 intake manifold, 200/208 stock cam
you can treat it as any other ls2, stroke it, forge it, supercharge it, etc.
if you want to install a cam, you will need to do a dod delete kit($350-$500), cam, springs and pushrods.
it comes with l92 heads, so any aftermarket head for an ls3 with work great.
I blew mine up with 13lbs of boost and now have a forged ls3.
anything else you need to know, just ask

I have an L76 as well. Pulled it from a truck and would like to learn more about them.
Are the rods and pistons as strong as the other LS engines such as the 5.3 that people throw a town of boost or nitrous at?
Mine came with 5364 casting heads. Apparently they are pretty decent stock heads from what I have seen.
I have read a little about the DOD delete for them. Is there anything else that should be changed to help them out?
Are these aluminum blocks as strong as the other stock LS engines that people get a ton of power out of in mostly stock form?
Trying to learn as much as I can about this thing.

Heads are the same as the ls3, just different springs and different intake valves.
Block is very good as well as the crank. I would change the pistons and rods if you plan to add some boost or nitrous.
I was making 613/543 with cam and 12 lbs of boost.
Thing with dod is the cam and the lifters. They are known for collapsing, and ruining the cam.

Those heads are quickly becoming the new head of choice for good power.
