Default 2013 1LE High Oil Temp

I took a customers 2013 1LE to the track this weekend (road race) and 18 min into the run the car went cut out, the oil temp was 310 at the time. Went into the tune and looked at the temp cutoffs and sure enough 310. So the question is is there a known good working oil cooler set up for a LS in a 5TH gen Camaro.

I agree with Jimbo. I had been pricing out parts to build an external oil cooler system for my 2010 SS before I yanked the engine last summer. I had not come across these Earl's coolers but they look legit and much cheaper than the other high efficiency units I found. I recommend installing a thermostat controlled bypass valve to prevent temperatures from being too cold. You want the oil to get hot enough to evaporate the fuel and any water out of the sump.

I installed a Setrab oil cooler on my car with a Canton oil control thermostat. It by passes at 215º and never goes any hotter even in the Arizona summers.
I have a '06 GTO and DD it. Has TSP heads, cam, Kooks and runs fine.
