Default LS2 oil pan conversion into FDRX-7

Hey there,
Im new to the boards and new to the LS scene. I searched around and learned that the LS2 dip sick tube goes straight to the pan, and that in some cases there is no hole in the block on the LS2 to install the LS1 tube. I ordered a pan kit from superchevy, will i need to drill the block? Thanks in advance for any help im looking foward to learning this platform.

Im doing the swap myself, the cost in shop labor is enough to pay for the swap parts, its crazy. I got my answer on another section of this forum. Thanks
