Default Do I need longer pushrods??

Engine is not assembled, yet. I have an ls1 with 243 heads and a 598/608 112 cam. Am I going to need longer pushrods for this build or are the factory pushrods ok to use. Heads are not milled an stock head gaskets will be used.

Don't use factory pushrods, get hardened ones. You will have to measure to get the right length or be lazy and just purchase 7.400 ones and hope they work.

I would talk to the people who ground your camshaft and see what they say.

Always measure. It is as simple as that. Mess with valve train, cam, lifters, heads, springs, etc... then you measure and see.
