building ls2 bottom ls3 top with a big turbo I am building a turbo ls2 forged bottom and a l92 head with a holley manifold with a 102mm tb. it is going in a nova and i want to run 8's on 116 octane, so i figure with the weight of the car i need about 1500 @ the crank. As far as the turbo i am leaning towards a BW s500 or s480. As far as lifters, rocker arms, push rods, and cam i was probably going to go with comp. For the valves i was going to probably use ferrea which are about 20 a piece and the balancer i was going to get a fluidampnr. As far a the oil pump i was leaning towards a hv melling. Anybody have any insight on companies that are cheaper and the same or better quality, im trying to do this on a budget and im already over it. or possibly which cam i should use?
