Default Best oil to use with big cam?

Can anyone recommend what is the best oil to use for me? I have a large cam in my 2000 SS. The car currently has 84,000 on it. I wont be driving the car when it is colder than 50 degs out.

Size means nothing....

Run Rotella here too for the high zinc content.

Define "large cam."

RP HPS has high zinc/phosphorus content also if you want another choice with different weight options.

Amsoil Z-Rod 10w-30 has 1300 PPM Zinc & Phosphorus plus antic corrosion
And rust inhibitors for when it sits in cold weather along with very
High anti shear properties still has detergents in it, not a race oil per say and with
1300 PPM. zinc & Phosphorus may not be best for cats depending on oil
Consumption if any. 6 mos or 3-5k drain interval depending on nitrous
Boost or methanol usage.

I guess large was a bad choice. I went overboard with it.

I'm currently using Joe Gibbs LS30 oil. I've heard nothing but good things from those who use it and many engine builders swear by it, and will only warranty their motors if you use it. I've also used VR1 and no complaints with it either.

Thanks for the comments. After researching and reading forums, I think I'm going to try the Gibbs LS30. The motor is a bit louder after the cam install and running hotter with the ARH LT's , so maybe this will help. I'm currently using the Mobil 1 full synthetic 10W-30. Not too sure what filter I will pair it with. Possibly RP...

I use a Wix filter (longer truck filter) with Joe Gibbs LS30.

I will probably stick with VR1 20W-50 since that's what my engine builder recommended.
