Is the pin pressed into the piston and rod or can you see a retaining clip in the pin bore?

I compared your pic to some of my old "LS2" Gen 4 rods, and I'm 99% sure that they are Gen 4 rods.

The easiest way to know is looking from the side. See post 17 in the link below:

Looks like LS2 rods to me, but take a couple pics of the big end and post those.
