Default finally pulled the trigger!!!

Hey guys so I'm pretty excited. I'm away in Vietnam right now working offshore while my baby ( 2006 ls2 vette ) is at the shop getting the build done. I'm installing a fast 102, k&n CAI, new stage 2 CNC port and polished heads, all new valve train including timing chain, pushrods, lifters, rocker reunion kit, etc. The cam I have chose is the 54-459-11 which is 231/239 .617/.624 113 LSA. I'm also installing a 25% ud pulley, 160 stat, kooks1 3/4 headers with offroad x pipe ( cat less) and a corsa exhaust. Anybody on here using this same cam. I want some feedback from ls2 owners with this cam. How do you like it, how's your power curve, how's the sound, chopoy , lopey, any PTV issues. I'm told its a great can and with my setup I should be right around 480 rwhp. Soooo on tat note let's get some reploys coming before the build is finished!!! Thanks.

Everyone seems to be pulling the trigger on something on this forum. I think you will like the cam, but at the same time wouldn't be something I would run or spec just my 2 cents. Few tips would be to run 3/8" pushrods and run quality lifters whether it's a drop in morel 5315 or a johnson 2110r. You will be much happier when your motor wants to rpm. Some feedback for your cam is this; have your installer install the cam on a 109 or 110 centerline and either have the heads milled to 61cc or run a .040 gasket with a 64cc chamber. If it means you need to flycut I would do it. You will get the most out of the combo this way, especially if your shooting for 480 to the tire. Having your fast ported would be a good idea as well.

^What he said plus if using 90mm TB would install VMax velocity ring
(easier to tune and better low speed drivability), 1 7/8 LTs (if you
Haven't purchased already), 10% UD instead of 25% ( some builders believe the extra isn't worth the Potential long term crank risk, controversial?)
Just my .02
Good Luck & Enjoy!
