Great. I wanna start final assembly. At least start by buttoning up the oil pan. Still gotta swap the valve springs and I'm still waiting on the T&D shaft mounts from Kip.

Test fitted the Moroso oil pan today,,,,Perfect fit! The Improved Racing crank scraper needed some extra filing to clear the rotating assembly, so with that said it will not just bolt on as is.
The Moroso #20140 oil pan also cleared the stock Fbody windage tray, but the tray needed a little cutting where the pick up tube bolts on, no big deal.

Was it the rods or the crankshaft counterweights that interfered with the scraper? Thanks for the feedback!

It was the rods. I did some filing with the dremel tool as well and it cleared so far as I turn the crankshaft by hand. But the question now is, will it still clear it when the motor is on its operating temp? I might have to leave it out as well. I don't want to damage anything on first start up.

I have been so busy with work and family commitments that I have not had anytime with this project.
Anyways, I just got a word from Kip@ Cam Motion that my T&D shaftmounts rockers are on their way to me, so I should have them in a few days. I will post some pics of the rockers then.
But just for giggles, here's a recap of my NA build going into my 1994 CamaroZ28:
*416 LS3 built by SPEED INC
CALLIES 4.000" crank w/billet 24X reluctor wheel
CALLIES billet Ultra rods 6.125"
WISECO .070" +5cc dome pistons
*CAM MOTION custom LLSR specced by Kip Fabre
*MOREL 5425 UltraPro SR lifters
*MAST LS7 265 Med Bore 11* 64cc heads/Lighweight hollow stem intake valves,TI retainers,locks/PAC 1209X valve springs
*T&D #2353 Shaftmount Rockers
*MAST LS7 4500 Efi 2pc intake

Whoa, that is a lot bigger than mine. You must be planning on spinning that thing up in the rpm range.

The specifications make sense for that rpm range. That motor should make some serious power.

Very nice. Any idea if a stock valve cover will fit with the T@D rocker arms? If not how much clearance do you think it would take?

Definitely will not clear stock valve covers, unless utilizing some kind of spacers. I will be looking into ProForm LS valve covers at the least. MAST valve covers looks great too, to clear these shaftmounts.

All I need now are ARP head studs and I should be golden for final assembly. Custom length pushrods will follow.

THis should be a monster for not going crazy on the cubes. How much higher is the Valvecover rail on the MAST heads vs. OEM ? Too bad stock covers don't fit. Do you think its doable with a 1/2" spacers?

Do those T&Ds require any clearancing? I heard they redesigned them back a few years ago to make them fit a little easier under valve covers and the geometry got weird. That might have been on the LS1, though. With those, you have to clearance the head (slot the pushrod hole at the top) to allow the pushrod to move in a bit of an arc back and forth. I wonder if that's been fixed or if it's still an issue? Otherwise, the T&Ds are great.

Jimbo, I tried just putting the stock valve covers on and it won't even sit at all. And this is just mocking it up. I'm sure it will require a 3/4"-1" spacer if using stock covers.
