UPDATE: We spent a few hours on the Mustang Dyno last night. This baby is INCREDIBLE to say the least. It took some time to give her what she likes and what she doesn't. Peaked out @7500 with 604 RWHP, I'm STOKED!!! I will give more info later tonight as well as some pics and vids.

I bet you're thrilled with that. Is there more left in the setup? I assume you went a little conservative with the tune-up.

I figured it would be at or above 600. Wider lobe, the 7500rpm makes sense.
You previously mentioned 10s. Forget that. You'll be running high 9s!

Congrats.

This concludes my build thread.
604 rwhp at 7300 rpm on a mustang dyno! Through a 4L60 w/8" 5500 stall and an S60 w/ 4.56 gearing.
I will start another thread after track testing, in the next few weeks (if weather permits before the winter comes). This build would have not been possible without the MAN upstairs, my wife putting up with me asking her to buy this and that, and to all here in the forum that helped me one way or another, especially MartinSmallwood,Kip@CamMotion, and BrianTooley, TonyD from SpeedInc,. Next week I will have the suspension fully aligned front and back, set pinion angle, etc. Then out on the track for testing(GLD and/or Byron).
Thank you all for following my build!

Thanks for sharing this build with such detail.

The motor sounds wicked - I bet the car is a blast to drive. How many miles do you have on it now? Much street use?

Enjoy!

Thanks guys. I'm still amazed on the results of this build and I can't wait to get it down the track. I remember early in my build, 2014 to be exact, Martin telling me that I will be building a 416"monster", and he's absolutely correct, I have built a little "monster" and initially, all I wanted was a 500+ rwhp engine for my camaro. Again, thanks to all following my build.

Awsome build. Power seems a Lil down for the compression and the heads used, then realized yiu have that S60, and that crazy high stall converter soaking up what must be alot of power. I been looking at the trick flow 255s and trying the idea of a 12 to 1. Seen a ls7 build using that, and still able to run pump gas. Tickled the idea of a meth injection also if pump gas alone can't do it. Just planning right now.

Thanks man. Down on power or not, as long as I get it to run in the 9's all muscle! I'm very happy!

Just saw this BOLO! Great results! Congrats!

How much lift did your cam have again? I ask because it would be interesting to see what the CID intake would do on this engine. If you're not over at least .700" lift I wouldn't do it, but I seem to remember it being closer to .750"?

Hey Martin, thank you man, that means a lot to me!
Cam lifts are .747" intake/ .732" exhaust. Can you tell more about the intake?

I personally think it's the best cast single four intake out on the market. The gains that have been seen going from the other regularly offered manifolds to the CID have been pretty impressive. That said, the major determining factor in how large the gains have been comes down to curtain area. Basically how much flow area the engine is seeing from valve diameter and valve lift.

The heads you have flow quite a bit of air, and they do also flow well at higher lifts. When you increase the area of the intake runner and the plenum volume on an engine that is built like this you can see substantial gains at higher engine speeds.
