Default LS9 Cam Help?

Hey all, i'm new here so i apologize in advance if my questions have been answered. I tried researching myself and couldn't find someone with my specifics.
I have a 2007.5 Vortec Max (L76 motor). I'm wanting to install a LS9 camshaft in it, but i'm new to the internals of engines so please don't hound me. I know i need to indefinitely get rid of the AFM lifters as i read on several forums, what would be recommended? And what all would i really need to replace? I read somewhere that i should get LS3 valve springs, but if i could why not go with LS9 and keep everything LS9? Reason being of going with the LS9 camshaft swap is because it's relatively cheap and a good entry project for me. Eventually ill go onto bigger and better.
