With the setup we talked about your going to make really good power......Get that block and do it to it:-) Have you made a choice for the top end.

^^That is impressive considering the LS6 intake and 404 cubic inches.

^^^ His car is nice, I talked to him a few years ago at lsfest when he was on the drag week tour, I would've traded him my HOSS in a heartbeat.

Well thanks! You've got a pretty nice HOSS yourself if I remember right! It made 488/472. I figure that's about all I'm gonna get with the LS6 intake.

Lol yeah I do believe I showed you some pictures, theres a few pics of it in the drag racing results section. Still impressive though bc you used mostly shelf parts that are affordable instead of spending abunch on that high dollar stuff. You have a well thought out car that works.

Awesome!! That 404 is set on kill mode. Is the heads ported ? The cam specs are surprising with the large split on a cathedral head but it's definitely working.

I bought the cam originally to use in the stock LS1, but ran into problems where I didn't have enough piston to valve clearance due to stretched valves. Don't see that very often... So I decided to just buy a forged short block. The heads are out of the box from GMPP that are cnc ported. I found out later that GM had Lingenfelter port all their heads for a while, so that's who ported these.

395ci LS1 (3.915 x 4.100)
Livernois Stage 3 LS6 heads
Cam Motion 231/239 .628/.637 112 LSA
FAST 90 (mamofied)
4.10 gears w/ 28x11.50 Hoosier QTP
Stage 3 T56
Raceweight ~ 3550lbs
10.81 @ 129mph (better driving would have netted me another tenth or so)

The key is to get the power to the ground for the first 330ft and drive it like you stole it
