Default Another knock knock who's there thread

So I just got this car running and put 500 or so miles on it. Yesterday I started hearing a knocking sound at idle, seems to go away or get quieter once I put the car in gear, but not 100% positive on that. It's loud and crisp, or sharp, maybe like it's coming from underneath the intake. Engine is an L92, stock internals other than the cam and arp rod bolts.
Here is a low-quality vid, I'll work on getting a better one.
I'm hoping it's not a rod as all my tools are in Nashville (and I'm in Atlanta).

Thoughts? I'm guessing I'll have to try to find a shop around here to take a look at it.

I'm going to have to buy some ramps to check, I only have a some sockets and wrenches here. Makes doing anything meaningful rather hard. If the oil and filter are clean, would it be reasonable to think it is likely something other than losing a bearing? I can't imagine how I could have bent a rod.

Yeah, the mic on my phone is pretty bad, real life doesn't sound much like that vid at all. Was just hoping it would catch the knock noise.
I popped the valve covers off and everything is tight and oil (at least up there) is clean. I don't even have tools to pull the plugs out down here, but I'm going back to Nashville in a week or two and will grab more tools and my ramps.
Would a rod noise come and go? I just started the car and I don't hear any knocking at all now.

Maybe, it seems kind of loud for that I think. The last time I was hearing it the noise didn't change when I unplugged coil packs one by one, for whatever that's worth. The grocery store is about a 1/2 mile from me, I think I'm going to drive it there and see if the noise comes back. After that I'll just leave it parked until I can drain the oil.
