LS7 Oil in coolant
I have a problem that I hope you can help with.
I have crate LS7 Engine that I bought from a sponsor on this site some five years ago and had shipped to the UK, the car has only done 2500 miles and is my pride and joy bit of a garage queen really, recently I have found that I'm loosing a small amount of oil thats finding its way into the header tank, even though I clean it out so its clean it still re appears after 50 miles.
The engine runs fine and has 70-80psi of oil pressure, also I dont have water in the oil and I dont have a PAS cooler or gearbox cooler either so i dont have that worry.
I did have an issue 1000 miles ago when the engine started tapping and I found that its didnt have the lash caps installed to protect the titanium valves.I only had to remove one cylinder head and replace one valve so I don't believe I dropped much if any oil into the water ways.
Any ideas as I'm thinking porous or cracked block at the momment whats your thoughts or am I missing something obvious.
Kind regards
Carl

So there are no oil/ other coolers that go into the radiator tanks correct?
It could be a/the head gasket that didn't seat properly when the head came off. Have you tried cylinder leak down tests to make sure cylinders are holding their compression?

When you had the head off, did you blow out all the head bolt holes?
