Default ls2 HP gains

Hey guys I currently have an ls2 with a comp 238/240 cam. Non ported 243 and non ported ls6 intake. Was thinking about getting some PRC stage 2.5 heads and a fast 92 intake and tb. I dynoed 420/380 jw what power gains u guys think I should get from this possible upgrade

That's about $3k in parts including gaskets, arp bolts plus retune cost. Probably 35-60rwhp gain. You could save $1500 by skipping the FAST and still gain 30-40rwhp. Mill them for as much compression possible for your fuel.

Not exactly an answer but it's testing heads on a LS2
Its funny that these heads are so impressive, yet when i was efforting a h/c build....many told me that aftermarket heads are a waste of money??

Which stage 2.5 heads are you referring to OP?

If I am changing heads, I am going to an aftermarket Trick Flow head. They just flow, right out of the box! Not a waste of money, I can post up a couple of examples, but not sure their owners would want that.

You could always do the LS3 style heads/intake, and mill them for compression. They flow better than 243's. Probably flow as well as a well ported set.
