cylinder bore of l23 823 head thinking about changing from the gm mls head gasket 4.08 bore and .051 compressed thickness to a different head gasket to bump up compression a few decimals...
can someone tell me the cylinder chamber bore of a ls3 823 head? i cant seem to find the information anywhere.
i know the head gasket needs to be be a bit larger than whatever is bigger, your cylinder bore or you head chamber bore. considering going with the 4.06 bore .045 thickness gasket.
any help is appreciated
