L33 5.3 Build.. Or lq4?
So I was thinking of building my L33 that came in my ext cab. But it's up there in miles and I'm not to sure it will last.. Or a couple of people have told me so. The upgrades I have done are small cam with long tubes and some nitrous. Love the way my 5.3 handled the nitrous. Would a Lq4 be any better?
Now does anyone know what I could do to build my 5.3? What could I do to give it a bit more life? Or is a swap needed just so you know my L33 has 160k 😭
I don't really have a budget I'd like to spend around 6-7 k to make my truck a 12 second truck or better if possible. Thanks for reading this if you guys have any articles or parts I could add to get some more power out of my 5.3. My best run was 13.2 with a 100 shot !

Being a truck, the added CI would help get it moving. A stroker LQ4 would be best. I would normally not sweat high mileage on a LS engine, but not sure with NOS. Only you know how badly you beat this thing. I'd go either stock stroke LQ4 or stroke it and build it while still driving the truck and swap it out when you have a completed motor.
