I was surprised Google wouldn't show me any views of LS7/9 casting numbers. I *think* I may have lucked into a set for good $$$, got the set of 8 with 4.125" pistons, rings, and pins for $135. Should be here Tues...

They got here today, full set of 8 Ti rods, pistons new enough to not show any scuffing, rings, and pins. Not bad for $148!

Last year I got a full set of T&D shaft rockers minus the shims for $275. Year before that, I got an almost complete '02 Trans Am engine with 243 heads, LS6 intake, LG cam, engine harness, ECM, etc. for $75 buy-it-now! Guy was in Montgomery (2 1/2 hr drive) and said it had 100% leakdown in one hole and some trash in the pan. Still made over a grand parting it out...
