Default Stock rods difference???

Do the 6.0L pistons rods from a LQ4 and LQ9 are the same? I know that the early LQ4 are press pinned and the LQ9 are full floating but??? What's full floating, the piston or the rod? Help please!!! I know that the length is the same, I just want to know if I can use some rods from a LQ4 with LQ9 full floating pistons?

Full floating means the wrist pin "floats" In the connecting rod and piston. The full floaters may have the bigger .945 end vs press fit with the .927 not 100% on that. Measure?

The rods are the same. full floating. The only different in a lq4 and a lq9 is the piston. lq4 are dished lq9 are flat. lq9 has 10 more hp than lq4 stock.

The rods are the same.
I wouldn't quite say that the pre 04 Gen III rods are exactly the same as the 05+ Gen IV rods.
