Ok, I'm going up a few cubic inches with 370 lq9 (new) , going to use my PRC stage 2.5 5.3 heads with 59 cc chambers, already have them, it's going to be a 11.5 compression ratio. It will have ls6 intake and ported TB, and 1 3/4 headers, and I will be hitting it with a 200 shot. Its a daily driver weekend racer 3590 lbs 4.10 rear and 6 speed.

Trying to get my head around the cam shaft that was spec for me, had 3 well known people ,the best in the ls world that I know any way. Spec me a cam and i trust them fully its a
236/250
625/625
115+4

can some one give me some insight on it
Why so big?
Why is The split so much? ( I'm used to seeing a much smaller split )
Why the lobe seperation at 115+4 (seems like a lot)
And why a 13 degrees of overlap?

just trying to learn, been reading everything i can find on camshafts.

hoping for some insight from a cam guru to help me out.
Thanks

And could u tell me if you think this thing is going to be a turd on N/A?

Hoping for 117-120 on just motor.

Any positive advise appreciated.

Funny how our build is practically identical lol. My cam has 13 degrees overlap as well...less duration but tighter LSA. The cam looks more like a nitrous grind than a n/a setup
