Thank you I run a Bert transmission it is a 2 speed direct drive transmission with internal clutch for low and reverse gear no one yet around my aera is running ls but the guy who built my chassis has one but since some has heard about mine there has been some more interest as for the cubic inch question no we do not have a limit only limitations are must be carbureted,(only 1 aloud) have a Steel block and some places mandate mufflers inserted in headers

This is the most recent photo from my build I have had a lot of stuff come up over the last week or two so have not got to work on it much have had a lot of on/off Mach up before final assembly and have had a few hold ups along the way but very pleased with the outcome this far

Crazy rules right there or lack of shal I say. Most mandate an iron head, flat tappet camshaft and a distributor with no box. What you have there will easily top six hundred ponies and you're a laptop computer away from basically having traction control when the track goes away as most dirt ones so. 👍

There is actually still a claim rule in place and believe it or not it is still only 550$ to claim but in my 10 years of dirt modified racing I have yet to see a claim happen I am hoping for reliability out of this engine not overly concerned about max hp numbers I am more concerned with drivability and reliability but I still hope it is somewhere between 600 and 650hp very excited to get it going

looks awesome....I do see only the one valley cover breather as crankcase ventilation ????
Perhaps look into the evac kit that drag racers use with some nice fittings in the drivers side valve cover and one vent hose to each draft bung which gets mounted in the header collector. It's less effective than a Vac pump but still does wonders for preventing oil leaks, preventing ring flutter, and adding power. RING SEAL is everything to making reliable power......

i still plan to vent the valve covers as well the valley cover is a custom addition with a baffle inside mainly for filling with oil easier and cleaner than through the valve cover I have looked and tried to find info on how to vent without pumps or having a pcv system and had no luck I'll just be honest I didn't have a clue what I was doing or even if it would work my new valve covers I just ordered (my factory won't fit over my pro mag rockers like comp cams say they will) will have a breather like this one welded up so a breather can fit in them like my valley cover

Motor is sitting in the car it's been a slow process with working 12 hr days doing it mostly alone. I also had to get new valve covers due to stock ones not fitting over my pro mag rockers

just headers thats it some tracks do require mufflers but they are basically just a screen inside the header they really don't do much at all for noise control.
