If that was true, the C6,C7 vettes and Z06 would all be running cathedrals.

An extra 30ci usually takes care of that, same goes for gearing.

Loved watching this build come alive Steve, you definitely put together a well rounded machine.

Good luck at the track with it, I know you've got all winter down there in Florida to tune it up!

I just realized I never shared any track videos of the car. I have this one from before I killed the transmission. LOL

It ran 6.60s at 102-103 with high 1.4-low 1.5 60' times on motor first time out. I made a couple nitrous passes on a 51n jet tune. It went 6.20s @ 108-109 with mid to high 1.3 60' times. I did not get a chance to push it harder yet as I killed the TH200-4r not long after this video and I killed my first 4L80e. I need to pull it out to be fixed, but I am working on the house right now. With the 4L80e and the cage, I am betting the car is back up around #3750.

Steve,
What size headers and which brand did you have on the Dyno,
and are they the same as installed? Reason I ask is I have a
Some what similar LLSR, LS3 Head Engine Project at my builder and hope
To be on the Dyno in July. I have 1 7/8" ARH.
Thanks
Dan

Steve,
How is the tranny build coming along? What is ETA for back on the
Road?

Also do you happen to know/remember your intake valve weights,
Are they hollow or Ti? How about valve springs, pressures, and
Installed height, .050 before coil bind @ lift.

I have a somewhat similar LLSR Engine going together at my builder
Over the next ~60 days and just looking to compare/confirm to yours
Because your results were so Exceptional!

Sorry I missed this Dan. This build had the factory LS3 hollow stem valves on the intake and stainless performance valves on the exhaust. For valve springs, I used the PAC 1208x at standard 1.800" installed height. It is probably more spring than I needed, but it is nice to have headroom.

Here is video excerpt gif from the excellent Motor Mania TV coverage of Lights Out 8 this past weekend. This is the Skylark doing some work on a "medium" amount of nitrous:
