Default Can a LM7 be a direct replacement of a LC9?

I have a 08 suburban that had a Lc9 in it and the AFM lifter failed and ruined everything. I can get the LM7 motors pretty reasonable. Are they direct swap? i realize im going to a iron block from a aluminum. Also will disable the AFM. Which is fine. Anyone ever done this?
