Default 5.3 AFM/DOD/VVT delete question?

Quick q, have a 2010 silverado, lc9. Had lifter tick so ordered afm&dod delete. As well as a non vvt cam, went with btr stage 2 cam. My truck has bolt ons and tuned already, no more v4/v8 mode so i imagine he disabled afm/dod. After i get everything back together can i start the truck without having any issues? Sorry if asked before, been searching like crazy. I know i will get the truck tuned very soon, just the tuner will not be back in town for a while and this is my DD. Thanks in advance!

It wont hurt anything to start it up, but it may have trouble staying running and probably best not to try to drive it anywhere.

Being tuned for a stock cam wont help things like idle airflow and timing. Bigger cams usually require more air, timing, and idle speed to be relatively stable.
