Default Cam questions for my 2002 Camaro

I have a 2002 ls1 automatic Camaro and I'm thinking about doing a cam swap soon. The car has a 3600 stall, tranny cooler, 3:73 gears, pacesetter longtube headers, and nitrous wet kit 100 shot. I don't know much about cams but with the modifications to my car what cam should I get? And what else should I get with my cam to replace also while the engine is out? Want to get the most bang for my buck. I want the cam to lope nicely too. I want the cam or the kit to give me very good horsepower gain but still be able to drive it on the street as my daily driver. Any help would be great! Thank you!

Lots of options. Try calling some of the vendors on here. They can get you exactly what you need. With that said, and based on the info you have given, something in the high 220 range on the intake side and low 230's on the exhaust side might be what you need

I would call Texas Speed. I have their 228R and its a great cam. Be cautious of piston to valve clearence and stall speed on the torque converter.

I would swap out the lifters, retainers, timing chain, pushrods, valve springs and likely a new torque converter
