Default CBM Motorsports new billet front timing cover

Hey guys!

Just wanted to let everyone know that we are about ready to release a new item to our line of in house made billet products. We are currently in production of a billet front timing cover. It is made from a solid block of 6061 aluminum. This cover will work will all GM and aftermarket LS blocks as well as blocks with a raised cam location. Will not work with the LS7 style dry sump system. They look great and are stronger then stock. Anodized covers will be available. If you guys have any questions, feel free to post them or send me a PM. We are going to have these up for sale by the end of the week as the first batch is about done. Special introductory price is going to be $399.

Will these clear the oil pump with a double roller timing set?

KCS - Yes it will work with a double roller setup. Of all the timing chain kits and oil pump combos we have tested, there were no clearance issues.

I got very excited because I thought CBM finally made a perfect 2 piece (removable upper for cam changes) front cover that doesn't leak and fits great. It's a beautiful cover though.

Jontall - You do have a good idea going on there. But at the same time, that is the problem with a 2 piece design. They always leak. We could probably do a nice o-ring seal on the removable cover but the material is going to be so thin, I would have a feeling it could flex and leak still.

Let me talk this over with our engineer. If he thinks it will be fine, we might just make a 2 piece cover!
