Default Arp aged 625 studs

Who all is using them? I am trying to decide whether to use them or just run APR2000's. Setup is a forged 370 with TFS225's and will see 17-18psi now and 20-23 later down the road. I know plenty are running the 2000's above that, but what's the consensus? I can get the 625's for $660 and the 2000's for $350

Cant say as I've tried them; however the 2000 series fasteners are some pretty darn good fasteners. I'm just not certain it would be money well spent in your case

With your aftermarket, thicker heads i'd imagine you'd push the limits of the 4 bolt setup before it's the studs that cause problems.

Edit: I have no personal experience with FI I am merely talking out of my ***.

Ive been kinda thinking the same thing. I feel like the 2000's would be good but IDK. Gen 4 4bolt block and LS9 Gaskets.

I doubt you'll need the custom aged stuff.

Default China Head Std's = OK

My METHOD : FORTY YEARS AGO, I asked "me" friend, in England, Mike Costin, WHY the HEAD BOLTS he provided with HIS BDA conversion kit WHERE "undercut" ?

HIS ANSWER : "The bolts/studs "need" to GROW equal to the AL expansion rate of the Al head".

This made sense to ME !

That "under cut" allowed FOR bolt stretch.

TODAY I use studs that allow for that, NO-ONE here speaks the "ART"

Would you like me to provide a stud kit that will work fine for under $100.00 ?

Lance
