Default ls3 oil clearence

Hi I have a ls3/l92 that I am putting together and I am trying to get my rod and main bearing clearances in check. Anyways My rod bearings are all .002 but my mains are a bit weird, all main bearings are about .0019-.002 but number 3 main is like .001-.00125 so obviously I need to get number 3 main bearing fixed, What do you guys think about .002 on mains and rods, I want to make sure I have decent oil pressure as I am retaining vvt cam. I also do have the wider durabond cam bearings which I believe will hold more oil pressure as they have a wider surface area. Engine is going into my yukon denali and with cam I picked out should make 500-520hp easily, I plan to add a lsa supercharger in about a year.
Also if possible please post your clearances and oil pressure warm and cold.
Thanks
Richard

Keep in mind your main clearances will increase once hot with an aluminium block.

Default Rod Oil Flow

I would ASK the bearing brand, my guess is FM.

I "like" the main, AL block, @ .002" min, NOT THE THRUST (.0012") as this # 3 REQUIRES MORE oil flow than the other 1-5's .

The Rods, too tight for future SC use, try King Race Bearings.

Drilling the oil pan filter insert area will provide a great flow increase as will using a longer "truck" filter.
Good idea for a VVT motor's oil flow.
I would add "oil jets" to the rod big ends.
The VVT oil pump is "native" HV, should be OK.
I would fit an IwIs "single" timing Chain AND modify your VVT Idler with a stronger spring, that will break.

Clevites, in my experience, have always been tight on the center bearing. I've been running ACL or Federal Mogul for the last few years and they seem to be more consistent and tend to be a little looser than the clevites. They're also less expensive which is nice too.

Default King Bearings = TOP Quality + size

Hi, I would use a King Race #3 main AND King Race rod bearings.
