Default trick flow 245 cam lifter and rocker install ?

So I installed some trickflow 245 heads, ls9 gaskets, johnson 2126lsr lifters yella terra 1.7 rockers and a 243/251 .627/.632 117+5 lsa on my 402. Used the supplied shim to get the wipe centered and measured for pushrods, I came up with 7.65 and got a 7.675 rods (thought I ordered short travel lifter) so that gave me .025. Now that is low for the lifter I have but only by about .010. Car was running just fine with 317 heads 234/236 .612 115 +3 lsa cam ls7 lifters stock rockers with trunion upgrade and 7.4 push rods. has a holley dominator which I checked over the wiring already grounds on the heads etc. Problem is it does not want to start and barley idles and hesitates when I give it gas, I have to give it throttle to start and catch it to idle (tps relearn done) and I have changed timing and AFR from 10 to 16 afr at idle and many different timing changes. Not really sure what the deal is but I am confused.

Did you use the adjustable pushrod to measure for length?
It should run--kinda ok with the head and cam change. It will need to be retuned.
