Default C6 vs. 03Z06 dyno graph!! - LS1 SPEED

We just picked up our C6 project car, and dynoed it with only 26 miles. The graph compares the dyno numbers of our 03 Z06 project car, that had only 32 miles on it at the time of the dyno. The stock tune in the Z06 is farther off than the Z06, but the comparison is interesting none the less.

http://www.ls1speed.com/pictures/c6VSz06.jpg
353.5 Blue Run is the C6
350 Red Run is the 2003 Z06

Minutes later the C6 did its second pass at 355RWHP.

We plan on installing headers, exhaust, some sort of induction, ported cylinder heads, mild cam or 1.8 rockers, and possibly nitrous. You will be able to find more info on the build up at www.c6speed.com

Well the Z06 is stock again, but was sold to make way for the C6....and alas the C6 will part ways with us so we can have fun with an 06 Z06

To be honest, I really like the interior. Not counting the dash or the really cool doors I'd say its on par with the GTO.... take and give in a few areas.

The car is surprisingly QUIET!!!!!! Its also a little slow compared to what most of us are used to, but we'll change that soon enough.

Very nice graph. That seems to be one of the stronger C6's that ive seen. Didnt one of the shops rigs dyno ~335 stock?

Ours is a 6 speed, and the A/F ratio looks descent. A point richer can be up to 15RWHP...

The 30 LB of TQ that the C^ made over the Z06 is what I like to see, the motor's getting more down low grunt. And it's noce to see that the factory is sending the cars out ( at least yours ) with a decent safe tune, unlike the 04 c5's that are real lean. All good info. My next qyestion is... what software can you use to tune the new computer, and what's it gonna take to get that motor in a 4th gen f body, other than a cable actuated TB?

It's funny to see 3 diffrent shops and all 3 are 10 rwhp apart.
MTI 333, LG 343, and now speed inc. at 353. Sounds like there is alot of variations leaving the factory????

Hmmm..... I've always wanted to see a C6 vs Z06 graph and as I hoped the LS2 has a significant low @ midrange torque advantage over the LS6. Peak numbers are damn near the same. These LS2's are gonna rock with some H/C work!!!!!

MTI's C6 did indeed dyno 333 rwhp, but the next day they dynoed the car cold and it went to 353 rwhp. I was told these cars may retard timing once they get hot and they probably are programmed to do it sooner then the LS1/LS6 motors.

The car was bone stock for the dyno tests. It still is, other than our Prototype induction that we are testing.

Nitrous is going on next

The 2004 calibrations have very harsh IAT timing retard tables (I know thats not the technical name). I expect 2005 to have the same thing.
