Where have you read that it is crap?

What mods have you done? Unless its a Big cam/heads car or large cid I would stay with an ls6/ ported TB.

I have the LS2 on my shitbox with a TPIS TB. Works great. I will be headed to the track on sunday to see what my gains are over the LS6.

There have been a lot of discussion about the LS2 intake manifold. It is not all that different from the LSX one. It is good

Isn't the LS2 about half the price of the LSX 90 mm?

Its 235 for the intake and 139 for the proper fuel rail From SDPC.
