I think you'll definitely need to replace the LS2 intake with a FAST to get there.

Yeah, I forgot about the FAST intake. The 90mm tb would help.
I figure 11.5 to 1 compression should be enough. Notched pistons should provide enough clearance.
I like the idea of running the 225 heads on a 4" bore. A 4" stroke would be nice but might not be worth the money.

With eagle cranks as affordable as they are, there isn't much reason not to stroke it. That is if the bottom end is being put together. If it is just a LS2 short block then you'll be looking at a good bit for assembally + the cost of the stroker kit. With SDPC selling the 402 short blocks for $3995, I'd go that route.
