Why? They may fit or they might not. But a set of headers made for your vehcile will. The labor will be the same or less, and they will make more power. The stock Ls7 manifolds aren't as good as LT headers.

I understand, but I live in California and understand that the LS7 manifolds flow more then most shorty headers and will be completely smog legal for me.

Those are very fat manifolds and should make good power, especially if you're under emissions restrictions.

Think they should flow real good. I plan to get a set and have them extrude honed then ceramic coated.

That would be a waste of time..get a set of LT's with emmission on them..in Georgia you go LT'S with no cats and edit out all the emissions crap..

I wish I didnt have to worry about passing smog out here in California. I dont think it is too hard to get by with the smog requirements, just needs to look factory and sniffer test okay.

I'd go another route. Technically the LS7 manifolds aren't smog legal for you either, unless you are putting them on a C6. If you are going to be illegal, you might as well go aftermarket.

On the flip side though, I bet fat manifolds like this would probably make a good turbo manifold. Whether or not the size/length are a hindrance, I don't know.. but the thought had crossed my mind.

LS7 manifolds won't be smog legal. The amount of fabrication you will need to do to get them to fit, as in moving the cats around and making a new y-pipe will make it illegal. Also, the AIR and EGR locations will be completely different, if the LS7 manifolds even have AIR and EGR hookups, which I doubt they do. Look at the pics, BIG difference.
