Default timing problems for snapbama

I need to know where the timing connector wire is located for a '94 Chevy 1500 w/350 engine.
Also need to know what to set the ignition timing on.

there is a light brown wire behind the glove box all by itself with a single quick disconnect plug.......8-10 should be fine
