I don't know if I believe someone turning almost 110 traps Stock. Just my opinion.

I never knew they ran that hard. To bad they have all that weight holding down that wonderful LS2.

The 2005+ GTOs run high 14s here in Denver at Bandimere. Gotta love the 6000+ DAs

Jesus christ they are only 200lbs heavier than a fbody... I get so tired of hearing everyone whine about how heavy the GTO's are. Go compare the weight of a '67 GTO and a '67 Firebird...

With a full tank of gas they tip the scales around 3800lbs, when I had my A4 01' Z28 with a full tank of gas it never came close to that, maybe 3400 range, thats almost 400lb difference.

I'd take a guess that those record runs were probably done in the fall with negative DA, I'm sure they were all run at sea-level.

An '01 z28 weighing only 3400? I'm thinking more like 3550.

Our car went 13.27 in St. Louis, Missouri... in March. Weather was ok, not sure about DA that day.

I saw a guy this past Saturday run 14.40's all night with an 06 Goat M6. Granted, it was extremely hot and humid and he couldnt drive for ****, but at least he was consistent!! Car still had temp tags, too.

My run was at US-41 Dragway on July 7, 2006 right before midnight. Temp was around 75 and the altitude at the track is 67x'. About an 1/8th of a tank of gas. Somehow I pulled a 1.8879 60' on the stock BFG KDWS tires.

I know another guy that cut a 1.79 60' on these stock tires, he's running a borla catback and a tune.

Track prep at US-41 is amazing and thus my trap speed is not as high as the other record holders.

All of the times posted on LS2GTO.com are backed up with slips. The top 3 require video support, as well.

My 01 M6 Z28 T-Top was 3743lbs with half tank and me in it. (I am 155lbs right now). I don't know how some of you guys are weighing in at less but you are doing pretty good. Mines bone stock, nothing extra (stock stereo and stuff)... with almost every option except ASR.
